pack_goldThere are roughly 25 billion ounces of gold dissolved in the world’s oceans and currently no economical way of extracting them. Find a way to extract gold dissolved in seawater. At current rates there are approximately 400 ounces of gold per cubic mile of seawater and gold is selling for around $900 per ounce. So for every cubic mile of seawater, you could extract $360,000 of revenue. Is this worth a few years’ investment in finding a solution?
