I have been toying with the idea of a series of webinars linked to the site to promote Freesourcing and speak diretcly to the readership. What do you think?
Thanks to Benny Ong for his write up – http://bennyong.com/archives/freesourcing-and-business-start-up
Thank you Bettina

This book contains great advice, and is a must-have for everyone who’d like to start a business with no money. The pages are packed with information where to get the usual start-up necessities for free – from free computers to free software, free business cards, or free office furniture. Jonathan Yates gives plenty of ideas how to market your business for free, or how other entrepreneurs have successfully grown their companies without money – even what type of business you could start for free, if you haven’t had the big idea yet.
This is a very inspirational and informative book, and I will certainly use the author’s advice for my own start-up company.

Nice debate from the BBC on Freemium services – can you spot my comment at the bottom.
Hi Jonathan,
have your book, and it is amazing!
Thanks Kristina – What plans for business do you have in the pipeline?
Welcome, well my problem is that I have 2 much plans and ideas (from fashion, old furniture redecoration, till consulting services etc…), just had bought your other book, have to say that they are very inspiring, easy to read and use.
Kristina – you need to focus on one area but I am sure you already know that! Choose the area that you most enjoy and balance it with what is likely to have a demand then create a package around it:
Website selling reconditioned furniture (for office or home) which you have redecorated / reconditioned – get some flyers printed, join a local networking group take some photos and create a free website using wordpress or sell individual one offs on eBay.
I know it all takes time but if you don’t start then the business wont start
Good luck
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan
Just finished reading Free sourcing, with out realising it I was already following the code,I still found it a great inspiration and will certainly be using all the resources I can from the book, I have recently started my fashion web with my better half Kellie, with the proceeds from selling various goods on ebay, I also use Freegle the UK version of freecycle and have kitted out most of my home with items from the other freeglers.
Barrie
I didn’t know of Freegle so I’ll check it out
Thankyou
More than kind – what did you like in particular – JY
i want to do this business
Dear Jonathan,
I got your website address from the enterprise shows website. I am inspired by your stories, and I cannot wait to buy your book and glean from your wealth of knowledge and experience. I will be attending the conference in May in York. Just want to find out which of the days(8th or 9th) you would be speaking at and if the 2 days would run exactly the same.
Also, I have an upcoming youth conference that I would love for you to come and speak at. We are hoping for about 500 young people between ages 18 and 35. It would be great to come with your books so that people can invest in that. Please let me know what I need to do to have you definitely on board for the conference(Hopefully you are not elsewhere on that day)
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Kind regards,
Bunmi
I am speaking on both days – contact me on Twitter @jonathanyates to chat about the up and coming conference opportunity
Cheers
Jonathan
